The Nelaga Territories

I know I'm way behind on things so this is a general catch-all thread for anything that the President (ie me) needs to handle but have forgotten / may have never known about at all. Seriously, just throw it all at me.

Don't say things like "work on your book / CoD2," cuz I'm doing that anyway, and I'm more talking about specific, small tasks.

I also have some things I *want* to get done, like proposing a map update and talking with Natopia about Ptia, so I might start my own list here too.

More admin than Pres:
Change the usergroups around so that you're President and I'm Speaker.
And either give me temporary admin so I can set it up; or set up the custom user field for Merit and for Votes; with a group with admin access to edit custom profile fields called 'Minister of Merit', so that can be done .

Pres:
Appoint Ministers

I'm Prez, you're Speaker. But I'm "not allowed to manage this group" of administrators. Which is actually really alarming.

Doing that requires the founder bit (which I just granted you).

Choose/make a favicon for us.

Find out who, if anyone, wants to be a minister
Appoint ministers

Presidential Wants:
Make good on favicon promise
Update forums in small ways to reflect passage of various laws
Conclude negotiations with Natopia over Ptia
Submit map update to MCS
Finalize (maybe have to redraw?) Operation: Sapphire Eagle for JASO / MoMA approval
Work on QDA article for next President

Presidential "Wouldn't-it-be-nice"s:
Update Soloralwiki a lil
Get some of those nifty little pictures for the forums
Potentially have to draw some of the nifty little pictures myself
Find some sort of project that would make people want to visit Nelaga every so often (good luck with that, me!)

Is this in reference to the forum reshuffling Jonas wanted to do, but we put off because we thought we might end up moving forums anyway?



If you finished CoD2 I'd come here more often...
as soon as I'd finished playing it and pointing out lots of tiny mistakes that no one would notice
aside from that, i think we need to develop some new interesting technology, whether military or otherwise.

Tried to set up what I wanted. As I expected, I need more admin permissions to be able to set Merit stuff up fully. It's fairly straightforward, so I'll pm you how to do it to save you working out how to give me more admin.

Okay. I'm working on a recruitment scheme. I've never posted anything at Charas, the RPG creation forum I frequent, about Nelaga, but I think it might be the time. I'm going to think of how I want to approach this. In the meantime, pretend to be really interesting and stuff around here to put on a good show!

On an unrelated matter - now we only have two ministries, do you want to re jig the department forums? If you prefer, I can do it, but I figure one of us should fix them up.

We could use the wiki as our national website... just an idea...
