The Nelaga Territories

Dear Nelaga

It is my absolute privelage on behalf of Her Majesty Queen Victoria II to send you this postcard from Riego Victoria. A new Micronation in this hobby of ours that has been in the pipeline since April this year. We have spent a lot of time working on it and we would like to let you all know that as of November 29th we became a Virtual Micronation.

I hope we have a long a happy relationship as our paths cross in the near future and would be very interested in setting up a process in which we can build an alliance with each other. We have set up what we hope will soon become our embassy website in Nova Kajar here

On behalf of the nation and Her Majesty, we give you Victoria.

On behalf of Her Majesty's Government It gives me great pleasure to announce the release of our Foreign Policy for 2009 and the early part of 2010. Although we have started treaty negotiations with various micronations we felt it best to hold of any pro active approach until we could provide you with some more basic information.

Is there any reason in particular you may be able to give me as I may better inform my government?

As far as I see it, Nelaga is going througha dry spell at the moment. Fides is in China, Gman has taken leave of micronations for a time, I believe due to sadness at the death of Hypatia's Mom in Shireroth. that's OOC death, by the way. I never knew the woman IC or OOC but Gman is a Shirithian so did, and we all understand that. Vur Alm (my OOC brother) has been away this past week but will be back in a couple of days. I'm not a foreign affairs type person, and Harvey's been generally busy. Oh and Jonas left our nation about a month ago I think.

That's about the best explanation I have. Our most active citizens are Fides, Vur Alm and Gman at the moment, and with them away it's hard.
When Gman is back (he's our de facto Minister of Diplomacy) I'm sure he'll be happy to have a look around at your nation and perhaps negotiate further. Sorry about this, it's not any slur on Victoria in any way.

I must thank you for such a detailed and informative response. I understand, especially at this time of year it is difficult to maintain the usual levels of activity.

I look forward to greeting Nelaga when time permits for us to further develop our relations.

I checked the MCS political claims map, and it says that you have territory now in Amokolia. This confuses me (I did say I was out for a time).

Amokolia was annexed into the Victorian Empire on the 17th of December 2009.

Gotcha.

Yeah. Jess tried to weasel out almost immediately but the micronational world supported Victoria. I did so myself, though as a private citizen and not as Nelaga the country.
